During this time, each child receives their new vehicle!

NEW THIS YEAR: All new and PAST GBG recipients are welcome back for a ‘Trunk or Treat’ style celebration. Each child may drive around to volunteers to receive little surprises. Feel free to dress in costume if desired!

Child/Families are not present during this day. During this time, teams of volunteers (therapists, students, engineers, community volunteers, etc.) use completed Assessment Day forms to make the necessary modifications happen. Tools, equipment, and supplies will be provided!

NEW THIS YEAR: We have broken apart the original Build Day into an Assessment Day followed by a Build Day. This will allow for time to assess, purchase and receive appropriate adaptive equipment.

During this time, each child will be evaluated using provided form by their treating PT or OT, along with additional physical and occupational therapy clinicians, students, and community volunteers.
