NEW THIS YEAR: Assessment Day.

Instead of combining the child evaluation and modifications of the car on the same day, this year there will be a separate Assessment Day and Build Day. This will allow for in-depth evaluations of each child’s needs and time prior to the Build Day to select, order, and receive adaptive tools and supplies.

Build Day.

During Build Day, future little drivers are evaluated by a team including their treating physical or occupational therapist, physical and occupational therapists and students, engineers, and community volunteers. The team assesses the needs of the child.

The team then goes to work to make the modifications and the car come to life!

Get Your Keys Day.

This day is all about celebrating our new little drivers! The community and volunteers gather together to present the car to the child and their family. This is time to play, explore, and learn about the new vehicle customized just for them.
